Business trip to France ... garden in U.S. -- can I do both?
I'm back now and here is what happened in the garden in 10 days while away.
Compost pile is cooking! Loss of 50% of mass and cooking!
The herb beds needed weeding but the week in Pennsylvania was sunny and toasty so they benefited from the shade. Weeding done! Loose soil helped do the weeding - parsley. oregano and dill all doing great!
Chineese cabbage has bolted (conclusion: start for transplant alot earlier! or do as a Fall crop).
